Policy: CPF

ok, let me start by making a short introduction about the Central Provident Fund.The Central Provident Fund is a compulsory comprehensive social security savings plan which aims to provide working Singaporeans with a sense of security and confidence in their old age. The CPF was started on 1 July 1955.

A reduction in CPF rates in recent years first occured about 10 years ago during the Asian financial crisis. Employer CPF contribution rates plummeted from 20% to 10%. Employer CPF contribution then increased to 12% and then 16% in 2000 but cut down to 13% in 2003. Since then, the government heed and hawed about restoring CPF rates to the original 20%, but this still did not happen.Now the CPF is at 33% (13% employer and 20% employee). The old days of 40% CPF (employer and employee rates at 20% each) are over.
The CPF scheme was set up as a retirement plan for Singaporeans, However, two policies in recent years have made it more and more difficult to save money with the CPF - a decrease in the CPF contribution rates and CPF contribution ceilings a year.
The government reduced the CPF contribution of the employers back then was due to competiveness reasons and labour costs, however, now that the economy is nearing its peak again, most would definitely hope that the government would restore the original contibution rate of 20% or at least increase the contribution rate by the proposed 1.5%.
Moreover, the situation gets worse when one get older,as CPF contribution rates are drastically lowered e.g. the total CPF for those 50-55 is 27%, for 55-60 is 18.5% and those 60-65 is 11% . When retirement looms, those who have not planned for it early suddently realise that their CPF contributions are much lower than before, and it is harder and harder to save money in the CPF.
My opinion is that if the CPF is intended to be a retirement plan, the government should at least increase the rate of contribution by the employer. However, if it's a short term solution to ensure jobs are not lost, then i think that the cut by the government is justifiable, however, some fund should be set up for the ageing population to ensure that retirement would not be a burden to them.

long time no see...i have not been blogging for like 1 month....i've been busy trying to rush out the history project about the stamps....a chore...realli...we hav to do 48 pages but we dun even hav enuff stamps...and we hav been like quite slack in trying to finish this project....we dun hav enuff exhibiton sheets, dun hav enuff foto corners...etc...and we dun hav the time to go and buy all those...i jus manage to buy a few first-day cover in city plaza....we hav lots of stamps but dun hav other philathelic materials...which is not gd as we r supposed to hav a varied range of philtahelic materials for the exhibition....ok....tmr i hav no test but got the darn o- level chinese listening compre....waste my time...aiya...shall stop grumbling...ciao ppl

yesterdae, went out wif velverie, ysabel, camilla, yiqian, zhongda and tse deng....went all the way to orchard to watch movie....actualli was not allowed to go at ferst but a last minute change of mind by my mum enabled mi to go for the movie...we went to cathay cineplex(not cineleisure) to watch the movie... we went to eat mac at takashimaya first b4 going to cineplex...ya...we watch cars...quite nice (cos the cars in it all look nice) the show got one small touching part and then cos i hav a running nose...so i sniffed...then velverie ask mi want tissue anot...then ysabel passed a packet of tissue to mi...then vel began to laugh...i wasnt even crying lor...i'm not tat emotional....then later towards the ending...it was a happi scene..so i ask vel not to cry....then she laughed again...a laughing stock...i should sae...then later i go liao...then the others continued watching another movie....ok...see

After like dunno how mani years of not blogging, i finalli decided to update again....okae...shall tok bout wad i did during the holidaes...tis is gonna b one long post...

firstly, during the first week of holidaes, i went to taipei..ok..it was quite fun except tat it was alwaes raining...dampen my spirit for fun....jus went there to shop,eat,shop then eat again...but the place was not bad...quite cooling...and the tings there r relatively cheap...then i came baq went to get my braces on then decided to gif the camp a miss bcos the braces r killing mi...could not eat properly 4 like 5 daes....
then it was the chalet, ysabel,christabel,velverie,jolyn,minmin and zhongda came....yupps...onli 2 boys...so xianzzzzz....then we went to cycle, go arcade to play...then we wnt baq to bbq....we tokk like 3 hours to set up the fire...stomach was grumbling like the sound of the motorbike's engine...then we decided to call the housekeeping office...then the duty manager came to help us set the fire...soon it was ready for bbq....then our neighbour gave us the remaining fire of his bbq...realli thankful to him for tat..then we finished bbq-ing and then christabel, jolyn and minmin went off...onli ysabel, velverie and zhongda and me stayed....then we played bluff and x-box till 6 am in the morning...then slept for like 6 hours till 12pm....then we went cycling again, the 4 of us with yi qian and melissa....ya...then this time bbq was much faster than the dae b4...cos we learnt the technique properly...then we ate alot tat dae cos we were trying to finish the food...yupps tats all 4 the first three weeks of my holidaes....sorry..decided to cut short this cos i'm getting tired...ok...ciao ppl

yep...baq here to blog again...quite long nvr blog and ppl sae my blog dead, so jus blog lor...ok...shant tok bout results here,tok bout 'post exam activities'...shall lament bout boon's policy in this post...
'post exam activities'..grrrr.....i read the timetable for the activities,guess wad, it read "sec1-4 lessons as per normal"... so tats our so called post exam activities timetable tat we were given...mi & edi were like "huh?" so this is the post exam activities...reminiscing baq when i was in sec 1 &2...we had inter class sports competition, captain's ball, soccer, basketball and had talent time and a screening of a movie during curriculum hours...even though its not tat frolicky, i presume tat it is much better than in the present state...one more ting...heard tat boon scolded the teachers for showing us movies tat r unrelated to the syllabus...on this, it mae b wrong if teachers show it to us b4 exams, but after exams, can't we jus hav some respite after the exams, it will oso increase the bonding btween the teachers and students and btween the students themselves, wads so illicit bout tat?!
by permitting us to do all these,we will not b so cropped up wif the lessons and studying...ugh!!!

ok...i'm here to blog again....its jus 2 more daes to exam....and here i am blogging...tats the rationale of things going in my life...doin tings tat r quite different frm others....i noe i should b studying now but i cannot control myself the urge of using the computer....not tat i dun noe wad i should or should not do...its jus the mindset...realli...mus realli learn the good etiquettes of 'self-control'....if i could learn tat...i wouldn't b in such a slump now...and i would b able to curb my tendency of making redundant mistakes...ok...enuff of all my flaws.... if anybody is reading these...which i doubt so as most ppl r studying...pls bear wif it....

ya...baq here to blog again...yupps feeling darn lethargic now...cos exams r round the corner and i'm barred frm goin out...cannot play soccer till exams end, cannot go out till exams end, go home immediately once sch ends, cannot go messenger(i secretly use the comp though) and the list goes on...feeling sick of how things r in my life now, wished it had been more organised, more lively and more fun...but fate alwaes goes against my wishes, dunno y and i dun wanna noe y...when will everything b nice in my life or at least in my perspective...i dun feel the heat of exams round the corner cos i dun realli care...seriously...frm pri sch till now, i dun understand all the hype surrounding exams, y r everybody so nervous or i should sae passionate bout one of the worst tings tat can happen in my life ....EXAMS!!!!!!! i feel tat this ish veh wrong though....y cant we jus go to sch and study and not take exams but tests instead....
finished venting my ANGER le....will try and study hard though...must follow wad most ppl r doin now...studying....haiz....must live up to the expectations set by others....ok...finish liiao...see ya...

omg...here comes the dreaded mid year exam....realli hate it man...hu doesnt hate it?....study, study....realli tired...when ish tat dae where someone frm the moe sae that there will b no more examinations....not tat i dun noe its impossible to happen...but its one of my earnest dream...one of those tat i realli wish tat willl happen ...if there's realli someone up there like god hu ish listening to mi rite now...i realli hope tat u will make the impossible possible....okae...i hav been quite alrite 4 my tests so far this term...getting a1 4 both chinese and chem...okay...its quite an achievement cos i realli cant blieve tat i will get a1 4 my chinese...tis week i'm gonna hav more tests...lit,amaths and SPA...i noe some will sae tat i'm lucki enuff not to hav physics test tish week cos i take bio...but i'm realli veh tired...darn tired....hoping tt time will stop now and let mi hav my rest frm tish world...frm everything...jus let mi go into my own slumberland...my own dreamland...aiya...wadeva...shall stop here...c ya ppl

ok...ppl...baq here to blog...yupps...quite busy this few days with my own activities..shall keep my post realli short this time...feeling dog-tired rite now...during this week, i hav been spending most of my time in sch...doing class deco and training and stuffs like that...hav been sleeping like onli 5 hours per day, thus i'm like quite sleepy during class...dozing off quite often...heez..so far have not got caught by tchers.....ok...toking bout sleep...i realli wanna slp now....o ya...quite a number of things happen todae..firstly, minjie's table's leg broke off frm the table...hell noes how she did tat...secondly, the whiteboard in our class dropped, shant elaborate on how we did tat...tat is quite a historical moment for us...then the boys took a picture with the dropped board...man...its amazing wif the way we cope with the matter of mr chua coming into our class, then we cleaned the class together cos we tot tat mr chua will b coming, but he did not in the end...quite united though...hahax...willl updatex soon....laalalalaalala... see ya ppl...

yes...i'm baq to blog again...yep...still excited over the fact that Man Utd won bolton 2-1 while chelsea onli manage a draw against lowly birmingham...manu have now closen the gap on chelsea to 7 points...i think that it is quite possible now that manu may overtake chelsea during the remaining 6 matches and win the english premier league in due course...ok...enuff of the tok about the premier league...now bout life.....

ok....life quite ok....veh mundane ...no choice...but i still like goin to sch seeing my frens and attending some lessons...not all lessons(tats obvious!!)....then playing soccer after sch...goin out wif my frens to eat or shop...upon reaching home..go online to chat wif my frens...tats wad i like bout my life now...though its not tat type of WOW lifestyle...i dare sae tat i'm happi and enjoying now...yupps...tats bout all...when i tink of something to tok bout the next time...which will b quite soon as i'm one tokative person...heez...i will blog again...c ya ppl...

okaess...i'm baq to blog... okaesss...have been quite an enriching week 4 mi...i manage to find out a few of my classmates secrets....heez....i will keep it to my heart though...ok...got the new seating arrangement 4 a-maths...like the primary sch style...so cramped together...but..no choice...mr moh...oh..sorry...supposed to b mr poh....wants us to sit that wae...then mr poh ask me and zhongda to change place to b in front of xiang ying and ysabel...then bel was like toking kok 4 the whole lesson and keep laughing...then xiangz was like oso keep laughing... dunno wads so farnny wif wad i sae....todae was the class's sixth ball kena confiscated by teachers...5 by ms hafiza, 1 by mr mok...ms ha can open sports shop already....LOLZ...after sch... me and yi qian went training... then went to play soccer wif zhonda, edi, edmond during training...heez....luckily nobody see and the juniors were quite cooperative in covering up 4 us....then rained cats and dogs.... we went to blk 85 to eat.....we ordered 10 bbq chix wings, then ordered another five, and ordered another 10...the uncle was quite pissed...i shd sae.... we ordered a total of 25 chix wings... and each of us have our main course and a desert...waoh...its quite amazing as we r without edi and edmond....and the fact is that we managed to finish them all....haha

ok...blogging 4 fun again...realli feeling veh bored...when's the next journal entry coming? it better come soon...i am beginning to run out of ideas wad to blog about...ok...i noe wad to tok about... THE FIRST WEEK OF SCH TERM 2...
ok...the first week of the new sch term is quite fun... me and edi keep doing the camp cheers and shouts in class...then after doing it, we would keep on laughing...like two spastic ppl...haha...anw...me and edi is like xiao bout the camp...keep doing the 'hungry' cheer and then changing to other cheer using the word "funny", when someone said something not funny...LOL...then keep doing the johnny bravo's action..yeh...the cartoon...then we will keep laughing...then we noticed something bout mr poh during A-maths lesson...shant say wad we saw... trying to b more discreet...kept on laughing...dunno y ...cannot concentrate like last term liao.......argghh...quite fun in class but its not the right thing to larf aloud not listen...trying to change...then fridae we watch the movie'green mile' in class...the old man acting in the movie as the person who going to b prosecuted is them funni... he saed 'i'm realli sorry 4 the shit that i hav done,i hope that they will 4gif me for the shit that i hav done...'his 'last words' were realli funny... but its quite vulgar...shant type it here...but if anybody wanna noe...i am more than willing to sae it...ok?!

ok... i'm baq to blog again...tmr marks the beginning of a new sch term...it also marks the first time that the whole class are learning together after the bonding camp....i'm quite sure that the class would be much more livelier and vibrant than b4....so does it spell more troubles 4 the teachers?! i dunno....heez...
maeb we will learn better together after the bonding camp or maeb get more distracted in class? i dunno...but i guess that the 2nd alternative would have a higher possibility of happening to 3a...as we r quite a talkative, energetic, enthusiastic and a happy-go-lucky grp of ppl...LOLZ

I'm looking 4ward to tmr as i realli miss sch, miss my class and my frens (i hav been saying this for dunno how mani times...heeez....)

ok...very bored during the holidays...reali miss 3a and the instructors of the camp...though i get to go out during the holidays, training, shopping, watch movie, but i stilll miss sch... i am looking forward to the new term as 3a 0'6 looks more united, more bonded then b4!!!!hurrah!!!
stilll got 4 more days b4 sch start...realli missing u ppl....ok...not trying to b lovey-dovey here.....its the first time that i'm looking forward to going baq to sch when i'm in a holiday....ok...see ya... will blog soon!!!

The sec 3 bonding camp...it rox sia!!!

ok... the sec three bonding camp....sincerely...eveb though i them freakingly sick of that campsite condition...i realli stilll like the camp...it let me realise a lot of stuffs... reallli... alot....
i miss my instructor timothyyyy....i realli like him...like him as in his character... dunno y... at first when i knew of the grping i was ok wif it but not very happi as most of my frens were in the other grp...then zhongda did not come... which toook away 50% of my zest 4 this camp....but after the first day of night games...i realise that everyone can work together... no matter of the differences..realli...so i began to participate more actively... that night i was realli tired cos the other night... i stayed up late to pack my bag and then watch the soccer match....then the freaking sleeping arrangement took one hour to finish...i was like going to faint anytime sia...them tired...but the next dae... i was the last few to wake up...i feel 100% ready for the day of activity....i told myself....i am ready....
so we went to the beach to play captain's balll....it was kinda crazy actualli....at first i went in i could not get into the game as it was too agressive...realli very agressive...we did not did well for the first round...then i was sent to play the third round... i told my self to go for evrything...i dived and threw...luckily the goalie was hanting as he is my softballl teammate...maeb its bcos of that factor that he managed to catch everything that i threw to him.... we cheered...i ran like crazy... i want to score as much as possible...after the gamee.... i was panting heavily...but it was fun....
then we went to play "lost", something like amazing race... we went around the whole sentosa...frankly...i dun realli like that game quite meaningless....finding pppl to dance with us...but i stilll participate actively.... then it was the camp preparation time...i was at there... sometimes listening to waht is to be done... sometimes going around playing with the sand or burying other ppl things...heez...then me and yiqian is to act as 'husband and wives'...then edi was supposed to act as my fren as a gerl....haha...its a gay show actualli....the boys were all trying to find ways and means to stack me....i was dunno stack how mani times sia....them dirty then i went to the toilet to bathe....then came the performance...i sort of cocked up....but i was stilll very proud of ourselves...the performance showed how united we can be....after the campfire... soon meng went baq... our grp left three boys onli....me, haozheng and hanting... we were sent to the campsite to bathe.... then that dae we managed to sleep earlier....i had a veh gd sleep as i was again reali very tired....the next dae... it was the station games....on the whole the station games were fun... we were more bonded and we were alll very wet at the same time....as we played quite a lot of water games...i was the most wet of the group...timothy keep using the water gun and shoot us.... then later me and regina filled up the pail of water then we pour the whole pail of water at him.... there was a game that took us a very long time to complete... all group members had to stick out their hands and thenhold the hands and then must untangle it to form a circlr... we kept retrying.....finalli after timothy allowed us to release five hands.... we managed to finish it....then after lunch... it was time to clean up the place... of all places we were asked to wash and clean the toilet...but this was the most meaningful activity of the camp.....we were like them "enthusiastic" to wash the toilets... during the washing of toilets... edison was selected to use a black plastic bag to clear up the stuff in the toilet bowl...it was realli disgusting.... my job was to scrub the toilet floors...then ysabel came to help me by using the hose to spray water at the floor and then pouring detergent on it to make it cleaner... then suddenly she use the water hose to spray water at me i was once again wet.then i use the broom and sort of like brush her....then she sprayed baq and i spray baq... then we continue working....the whole class was veri united in washing the toilet and we keep on cheering...veri fun....
on the whole the camp was veri fun and i dare to shout out and sae "3a'06 is a great and united class!!!!"
haiz...someone pissed me off during the camp...seriously it would be much better for the camp and the class if she was not in our class....thats in my opinion... i'm not trying to propoganda but i seriously hate that person.... why can't she change her mindcept?!.. she pissed alll the boys off ... especially me and edi... and thats her loss, not her gain.... its not the first time...nvm... i shan't tok bout it further.....

i quite like our class... i should sae...not bad...the boys almost all like to play soccer... we r able to form a street soccer team...we would alwaes joke in class, eat together, play together...quite fun... the gerls are oso quite sociable...making our class more lively....although we alwaes play soccer in class , then alwaes get scolded by someone(m_ _ j_ _)... she alwaes take our balll then try to bring to other ppl class...but onli noe how to bring to junliang class...
i should sae that our class is the most lively, vibrant. noisiest?! class in the whole sec 3 from what i heard frm many teachers....

ok... ms zarina has to gif up 2 ss classes frm sec 3s as she is required to teach sec4 hist classes...so pray hard that she will not choose to give up our class as we will hav relief teachers 4 the whole year.....

ok... i jus went baq for training on fridae...did not went for the past month or so as i had just put my braces...yah... had to let the cement set for bout a month b4 i can go baq for training...mr chai was scolding me like xiao as he said if i had wanted to go for training... i would tell the doctor that its ok for mi to go for training and that i will try me best to protect myself...but y cant he jus understand that 'anything can happen'?!
he also scold the whole sec 3s for missing training on thurs...onli james went...nvm... shant tok bout the unhappy things... yah... went baq for training... felt quite fresh after a long layoff... my skills were oso quite rusty now.. catching ball like catching air...but it was fun...batting, throwing, catching etc...nice to see everybody training together...looking forward to the next training...haha

we are supposed to tok bout this movie called gattaca. its bout a guy called vincent, his dream was to become an astronaut, but he suffered from a disease which all but sure hinder him in becoming an astronaut. however, he went for some genetic modification with a guy called jerome... in the end he became one of the elites of that space company...
i liked this movie as it allows us to understands more bout genetic modification and dna. it is actually quite critical bout the study and application of genetic modification but there are some good points bout the study of it as it is proven that it can be beneficial to mankind...all in all... it still depends on the scientist on how they want it to be applied...

time to write my journal again....
ok... let me tok about the sec ones...
My sister is in sec 1... ya...joined guides
from wad i hav observed so far... 95% of the sec ones wanna be student councillor...dun understand why though... my sister is one of them though...but... wif all due respect to the councillors... i feel that councillors are very busy... most of them reaching home at evening time...it should be quite tiring for them to cope with their studies, cca and council activities... And if all these falls on one day..then..o my god...its like super exhausted... no time 4 ur own things...then the sec ones gave lame reasons like "oh...the tie is so cool", "the badge is so nice"...i was like "huh?"... jus bcos of a tie and a badge.. u wanna b a councillor???
And then sec ones r quite... i should say "creative"... it was the end of sch...me & my frens were going to the street soccer court to play soccer... then we saw a bunch of sec ones kicking something around... frm afar we could not see wad it was... after going there we realise that there were kicking a water bottle around... using it as a balll... so we had our own ball and we offered to play wif them... using our soccer ball ... not their water bottle... of course....when they play soccer... if their team has 5 ppl.. then wherever the ball goes...the 5 ppl will go for the ball... we call this 'kampong football'....haha...
thinking baq... i realised that i once went through the same stage and did the same thing as them....playing wif a water bottle or wateva is available...playing wif erasers etc...
its actualli gd some time to reminisce about the past....

now, there's a new type of program in english....tat is to do journal blogging... Mr Tan ask the class to vote 4 whether they wanna write or to blog...obviously the class went 4 blogging...onli a few went 4 writing...ok...should tok bout something now 4 the journal...
so let me tok bout skool...

ok. school has started for bout 5 weeks...i in class 3a...chem & bio pure sciences...core hist, elect lit ...ya...tats bout it...chem is quite nice, fun and quite easy to understand... taught by Ms Hafizah...bio... taught by Mrs Lee...i feel tat it is amazing tat she memorise all the powerpoint slides and teach us... maeb tats y her lessons r quite boring... her voice is like over ordinary?!...her voice makes me wanna sleep...
In Fact, i'm feeling quite regretful taking e-lit as elective... Ms lily Koh is like keep pressurising us and rushing us through the whole lessons... then we tok a little bit then she will ask one of us in our group to stand up and answer her questions... we manage to cope quite well until zhong da was asked to answer the question... then his answer was the answer to the question before...he always manage to come up wif something funny ... i don't know if its realli purposely or accidentally...today lit lesson was quite good 4 us... our group, which consist of all boys manage to analyse the poem quite well that Ms Koh gave us... She said "the boys todae r fantastic"... we worked quite well todae... i should sae...we realli manage to see things in a different perspective frm the other groups and our answers were quite satisfactory...even zhong da gave some good points during lesson...ok tats all...

Due to demand, i'm baq here to post again....ya...quite log nvr blog liao...actualli not much to tok bout...so wun tok much.... aiya...holidaes got training on tues,thurs and fri.....like normal like tat....then stilll have to do project on mondae and wednesdae....so like no rest like tat....nvm...one and a half more month then can rest le....now everybody mus pia liao....exams coming sia....my results hav drop so mus work extra harder....then after tat can rest liao...ok...gonna go study...willl try and blog as much as possible...

haish...so long nvr update le...cos veh bothered by some things some ppl should noe y...but i gonna start afresh and not brood bout it le...haish...rumours,realationship,studies, frens...all these things...aiya...i will 4get bout it one...hope so...should be ok lar... i happi go lucki one lar...aiya...so xian....i jus got a new boots...its abit too big....and a new glove...quite happi bout it... cos my mitten seasoned like xiao...some things happened todae....victor lau...aiya...dun sae lar...but he got over it le...faustina oso bahz...then faustina was like soo happi in class...should b acting...but they both used to it le...mi too...nvm...we now in same boat...then later go training the gerls pour water on juwel cos her b'dae...she caught a cold sia...the gerls learn frm us one...we smash whipped cream on vic but they pour water...on vic's b'dae...spent alot of money...went to fish & co to eat...one fish and chip cost $13.90...alot of bois nvr bring enuff money...hafta help them pay ferst...some till now nvr pay...nvm...we then went to plae arcade...waste quite alot of money there...playing wif vic daytona and tennis...then we go watch seven swords....was quite a nice show...we nvr watch charlie & the choco factory cos no tickets...nvm...seven swords quite worth it...recommend to everyone to watch it...then later go home...bought 4 vic a wallet as a prezzie...ok...shall stop here 4 now...trying out new blogskins...will update more often...BYE:-)

todae was ok lar....first period english and i hafta go up and participate in a some-sort like a debate thingii on whether man r more violent than women.... i on the opposition side... of course....quite funny though...waste almost the whole period on this...nice...then later music got the test lar...got two wrongs though... it was quite easy actualli...then recess... saw the non-stop toking joey(softball)... he wanted to ask mi to let him go behind mi... but i did not...i let he xian(softball) in instead...LOL...then it was maths, sci then recess again....after tat i left class earli cos got competition...we lost 3-2 in the end....we played quite well jus tat there were some problems wif our batting...can rest finalli...saturdae hav the sports orientation...dunno wad its tat actualli...juz noe tat primary schs coming onli...then i gotta b present...veri tired this few daes coz of the competition...making mi more and more tired each dae...it has finally ended...can concentrate on othere tings le...spend more time wif...erm...nobody....i wanna sleep le... will update more often...buaiz...

aiya.... todae match we lost quite considerably... 19-16... veri close the scoreline... we could hav win if not 4 some mistakes... though... nice try.. they hav played 4 5 years but we almost won... not bad lar... next mondae ish our match against yu ying at home... we hav to win to advance to the semis... and i am quite optimistic bout it... we can do it de... hav confidence un urself bois...

we played against north vista todae... last nite... victor told mi tat we would thrash them 70-0 as they r veri lousy coz our seniors thrash them last year... but he didi not realise tat ppl may change and tat was wad happened todae...he was quite... erm...complacent todae...actually almost everybody was...we did not expect tat they would b so good...in the first two innings.. we palyed ok.. we let in 2 runs but we scored nothing... actualli, we could hav scored but victor made a mistake by ruuning after the fielder caught ben's flyball and i was onli left on 2 base then darryl hit to 2 base and he was out...tats y.. then came the 3 inning... victor hit to outfield and managed to reach 1 st base ... then later i hit to third base he caught the ball.. and throw to 1..the 1 base missed .. i was saved and xiang yang came in.. a run was scored... then later hexian,vic and ben came in b4 3 ppl were out and the score was @ 5-4... we were leading.... then its our turn to field... if we let in no runs.. we would win the match... but we let in 4 runs due to our nervousness...then its our turn to bat.. we hav to score 4 runs to win the game... it was roy turn to bat then he reach first then kheng soon was out... then it was yi qian and he hit to the outfield and roy came in...then xiang yang go batand he somehow managed to reach 1 base... then yi qian came in and he xian reach 2nd while chris is at third... if xiang yang come in we will win the match... the atmosphere was veri tense... then the pitcher pitch a ball and the catcher missed it... it rolled into the backstop(illegal)... and xiang yang was awarded a free base...i went into him once he touched the base and we somesort like hug each other... we were juz too happi...i dropped my tears when we were all on the ground... it was tears of joy... i was speechless and could barely cheer for north vista...we won!!!
when we went baq, we were given a lecture by ms z for no team spirit... i juz dun understand y... we called for time when we were not in top shape... isnt that call teamwork and team spirit??? i dunno..

yesterdae was the gerls match against TKGS, the score was 37-1, the score did not reflect everything of the match though, even though they lose, it was the best game i've eva seen them plae even though there were some errors, confusion in the game... but they did not look lost there... unlike the other matches... i'm sure there r more room for improvements though...
b4 the change evrything was the ok except shi-en making some good catches(under my guidance, though) ... after the change they played better coz juwel was plaeing 3 base and her throw was pretty fast and accurate tat is y she got some ppl out, and it looks like i'm goin to owe her a b'dae present on her birthday... she caught a flyball tats y... but i am goin to try my best to get as much ppl out as possible on thursdae... so juwel dun b too happi yet... i cannot go to the gerls match tml though as there is an outing to the sci centre which is made compulsory by the sch... darn it....i wish all the girls the best for tml match and for the thursdae c'boys match wich will feature me...ok.. tok bout training todae.... noting much though... we practise the TKGS style of "how to not overrun" ... we failed quite a n0. of times though... mr tong ask us to run until everybody did not overrun... phew... then later we train the usual stuff of throwing and catching b4 we bat against the b'boys... then the rain spoil the atmosphere and we end training at around 5.40.... earlier then usual... tats all for now Pals... buaix

todae training start earlier then usual...b4 training shu yi asked mi about wad questions to set for the survey for the gerls to answer...the kind of personal attacking questions all not i sae de but shu yi sae is good for them to noe...i set onli "team" question...the c'girls are gradually improving... so are we... then after tat we went for training... we train the usual stuff and some of us were asked by shyang long to train the girls at our respective bases...shi-en hav improved under my guidance...joking... joking... after tat we played aginst the gers and the b'boys we kept changing position to try out new position and hejun asked us to tell him when changing position as he was the umpire... after he saed tat we changed position after every batter to disturbed him... LOL...i tink he was quite pissed by our actions.... while i was leaving... i told shu yi tat i cannot go out to eat dinner wif the others... vivien heard it and said " pls lor, nobody would oso want to eat wif u" i was veri pissed by her immediately as during training she kept on crapping about the tings i tok even though i wasnt toking to her... but i kept my cool and did not sae anything... after she saed tat i saed"i oso not toking to u, wads ur problem todae?"she juz walked off like tat...i dun care whether u r looking at my blog anot... i juz cant tolerate u le... u realli sux and pls dun barge into my conversation wif others anymore...

yesterdae was a dae of mixed feelings...firstly we won the c'div nationals first match... the score was 47-1... nice score rite?? we played quite well but our batting sux...especially mi...we won anywae...but someting happen at nite to mi...some ppl should noe wad happened... i getting over it soon...tats y i sae "mixed feelings"...
todae i went to sch wif a heavy heart... not noeing wad to do... i wasnt even paying attention at all... sad... after much thinking through.. i decided to sort my heart out... tats y i sae i getting over it soon...then comes training after sch... my spirits were lifted up as i like softball, training wif my frens and seeing them improving...i missed a flyball though... juwel caught one and was quite proud bout it as she was plaeing 3 base for the first time and she was happier as she got He Jun out... tats all for now... will update soon...

This week is quite tiring for me..... tho tot of nine more sch weeks to go b4 holiday irritates me... sad... But upon thinking that there r training and our competition r starting soon.... it lifted my spirits... frankly speaking... training is fun... no matter which part of it...now back to wat i did this week.... on monday i went to sch normally and went home after sch....tuesday-i went to sch and after sch, its training....we train the usual stuffs and played against the b'boys and mr yo let the girl bat against us...no girls had a run...sad for them but good for us...we r gradually improving....on wed it was the girl's match against geylang methodist...i wanted to watch but i had tuition...sad....the girls lose 33-3 anywae...they got some runs though...ok...thursday was training and we train the usul stufff... after training juwel told me that she didi not perform tat dae as she was pissed by someone(secret)...fridae was sports days... as i sports leader...cannot join the others...sad...after everything...went to mac first b4 meeting juwel there wif anna, perle, gracillia,leona.... went to play lan(cs) after tat wif joey,ben,sk2... quite an enriching week...fun...not for the studying part though
